The Vello ActionPan Professional Grade Stabilizing Action Grip allows you to attach most compact cameras and camcorders, via 1/4″-20 mount, to an extension bracket. You get what you pay for. I bought this to have something small to put my DSLR on while doing downhill follow runs on a longboard. The entire thing is made of plastic, but that is expected for something this cheap. The legs that hold it up when you sit it down break very easily so I would be really careful with it. The handle flexes some with even a small DSLR (60d with sigma 18-200) so I would advise that this only be used with smaller cameras. Works for me. I have one of these with the Sunpak logo on the handle. I think there are several different distributors but they’re pretty much the same. I don’t use this the way the manufacturer intended. I shoot video with a Canon DSLR and mount the camera rotated 90 degrees from how it’s usually shown, kind of like a mini fig rig.
