The Fuji FinePix XP60 16MP All-Weather Digital Camera is a compact, rugged camera featuring a 16.4 megapixel 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor and a waterproof, shockproof, freeze-proof, and dustproof construction for recording both high quality still imagery and full HD 1080i video in a wide variety of conditions. A 5x optical zoom lens provides a wide range of focal lengths to suit most shooting situations and sensor-shift-type image stabilization helps to reduce the appearance of camera shake while working with longer zoom magnifications or in low-lit conditions. A bright 2.7-inch 230k-dot LCD monitor is available for live view monitoring as well as playback and review of both still and moving images.

  1. Leaked on vacation Ordered camera for a trip to Mexico. Received a few days before and used to photograph some of the flooding here in CO (in the rain), and on a quick hiking trip in the mountains (dry). Was happy with the picture quality. To get clear/well lit photos just play with the pre-set modes until you’ve learned what is best for different situations. On the trip I was generally happy with the photo quality- the LCD screen was hard to see underwater, and it had a hard time in low lit situations, but…

  2. Fujifilm FinePix XP60 16 MP Digital Camera / MUST READ ! ! After doing plenty of research on underwater cameras at this price level. I came to the conclusion that this is the best camera for the price. PEOPLE,..its an underwater camera,..not a $400 SLR professional camera. ITS best pics are outside and underwater.
