GoPro Camera Sportsman Mount (Black)

The Sportsman Mount enables one or two GoPro cameras to be mounted to gun barrels, fishing rods and bow components .4″ to 1″ (10mm to 25mm) in diameter. Compatible with most shotguns, rifles, revolvers, airsoft guns, paintball guns and more. Cameras can be mounted front-facing and/or rear-facing to capture immersive footage from a variety of angles and perspectives. A non-reflective, matte black finish ensures low visibility.

  1. So far, its great. Price- so the elephant in the room is the price. This is not a 100% plastic mount, The clamp itself is nicely finished aluminum (or another light metal), as are the two different connectors (for mounting under or too the side), These things are not free. You also receive 4 back plates. Additionally, this kit does not use the shiny acorn nuts, but has nuts molded in, so there are no shiny parts.   2. Fantastic Mount! Not just for guns, and give you different mounting options As the title says, I’m very impressed with this mount! Here are my observations after unboxing and getting this set up.1. This is a really solid and well built mount. It’s much larger than I expected, but nowhere as large as the GoPro Clamp mount2.   3. A little pricey, but worth it! Great mount for great new views/angles. The mount is heavier than I thought it would be, so it feels very sturdy. When mounted on the shotgun, the camera understandably gets hot very quick. This is to be expected though bc of the warm weather and being mounted onto the hot barrel. I would suggest the skeleton backdoor to help with this. The clamp also slides and turns slightly on the barrel when firing the gun multiple times, but it does hold firm otherwise.
