  1. Quality on a budget I’ve owned both the ION Air Pro model and now the S3000. I purchased both specifically for use on my motorcycle.I returned the Air Pro after the camlock mount failed while in traffic and the camera fell to the length of its safety lanyard. My reflex to try and save it nearly cost me an accident.The S3000 as previously mentioned is a base model without all the options of the AirPro series. Okay camera but the tripod mount is plastic which will strip Got this to replace a Drift HD720 which developed issues after the camera housing cracked.The big problem with this camera is that the tripod mount is plastic which will quickly get stripped if you are screwing it into a metal tripod bolt. Mine did that and I ended up replacing it with a 1/4″-20 (standard threading for a tripod) T nut epoxied to the camera.   3. Neat little camera for the price I was surprised to find the HD video was actually quite good. I bought this for a proof of concept experiment I was doing while hunting. So instant recording and being waterproof were a requirement. The camera worked pretty well for the experiment and I have also used this as a dashcam for the car.
