The iON Speed-Pro Waterproof Action Camera with Wi-Fi is designed for capturing POV footage, extreme sports, adventure activities, or just about anything else requiring a camera with a compact form-factor and a wide range of mounting options.
With an ultra-wide 170° field of view (FOV) when shooting 960p (1280 x 960) and a wide 127° field of view shooting Full HD (1920 x 1080), the Speed-Pro records Full HD 1920 x 1080 video at up to 30 frames per second, and can capture slow motion in 1280 x 720 at up to 60 frames per second. It can also take 5MP still photos, with the ability to capture single shot, three shots in one second, or take one shot per 10, 20, or 30 seconds for time-lapse. The body of the camera is waterproof making it suitable for water activities or even snorkeling to depths of up to 30 feet.
iON have kept the controls of the Speed-Pro simple. A single slider activates the camera and starts and stops recording, and a switch allows you to toggle between two pre-selected video modes. Additional settings can be accessed by connecting the camera to a computer and using camera’s built-in utility software for Windows and OSX, which automatically loads on the MicroSD card.
