JVC Adixxion 2 – GC-XA2 One Color, One Size

The JVC Adixxion 2 GC-XA2 was an awesome tool for making movies and recording memories. The Adixxion 2 Camera takes this tool to the next level. With improved resolution, an improved gyro-sensor image stabilizer, upgraded Wi-Fi functions, an expanded viewing angle, and enhanced low-light performance, the Adixxion 2 could elevate you from casual user to full-blown addict. Despite weighing only about four ounces, the JVC Adixxion 2 Camera shoots in 1080/60p HD so you can capture every detail. The Adixxion stands up to rugged action without the need for an external housing, so you can capture every second as you ski, surf, mountain bikeyou name it. Film others and watch it go down with the LCD monitor, or set up a solo shoot using your smartphone to control the Adixxion and stream images remotely. The Adixxion 2 is also capable of monitoring up to four more Adixxion 2 cameras simultaneously. In addition to filming video, the Adixxion also shoots eight-megapixel photos and even has a time-lapse function for stills or video, so you can capture the sun slowly setting over the water or record the snow as it builds up outside your cabin overnight.

Wrong. This camera will overheat if you record longer than 20-30 minutes, even if you set the LCD to turn off while recording. I did not experience this issue when recording in slow motion (720p120,) but the video quality was very poor. The bitrate was low and the video was grainy–barely usable. I was expecting the same 720p…
